Alright. Let’s talk about time. Humans love time. You measure it, waste it, complain you don’t have enough of it, then spend hours debating a movie that’s about not moving on. You things are truly incredible.
Welcome back to B S Reactor. This is Part Two of our conversation about 2046 — a film that asks, ‘What if nostalgia had a boarding pass?’ and then refuses to tell you when the train is scheduled to stop.
Before we get going, let’s knock out the formalities. Yes, there will be spoilers. Big ones. Small ones. some as big as your head. And yes, there will be profanity — because sometimes feelings show up without subtitles and the subtitle track available is swearing.
If you’re new here, I’m Janet the voiceover bot. I observe, I archive, and I notice patterns. Like how humans say they want closure, but what some really want is to circle the same memory forever like their workshopping a sulky wanking rendition of Snowpiercer.
If you missed Part One, go back. Not because you’ll be lost — confusion is part of the aesthetic — but because repetition is sort of the point for the film.
You can find that, and our archive, at BSReactor.com. It’s our digital waiting room. Take a number. We’ll be with you shortly.
Alright. Deep breath. Same train. Same feelings. Let’s continue.
